[DynareDev] Virtualization on Hal

Hi all,

I am trying to run a virtual machine on Hal, so that I can compile packages for Ubuntu/AMD64 there (and it would probably be possible to also run a Windows/64).

The software I use for that (VirtualBox) is very intuitive, but needs a hardware feature, called Intel VT. The feature is present in Hal, but is currently disabled in the BIOS, and therefore we need a manual intervention on Hal for enabling it.

Does any of you plan to go to Jourdan in the near future ?
