Done.
@Junior
I guess it should also be
if any(any(isnan(P))) || any(any(isinf(P)))
retcode=2;
return
end
so that we filter out inf if Hessenberg-Schur also fails?

And while you are at it, could any one of you guys replace line 115 in "discretionary_policy_engine.
m" with the following:
if any(isnan(P(:))) || any(isinf(P(:)))
Message: Discretion: Added catch for infinities
Comment: A user provided a file in which the Sylvester equation solved using doubling can evaluate to inf. When Doubling fails, one can try the Hessenberg-Schur algorithm.

Thanks Johannes. So we may target a release for this week.
Houtan, correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding was that we
are independent of homebrew only for the Matlab version...

Stéphane.

Dear Houtan,
thanks a lot. So ware creating macOS-packages that are independent
of homebrew. That was what I wanted to know.

As it says in the link you sent, the homebrew people are
reorganizing things on their end so this may delay the
availability of Octave mex files but won’t impact the macOS
package that we deliver regularly.

Hi,
for me everything seems to be working as expected. I also checked
Windows 7 and that seems to work as well.
I was wondering if there is an issue with mac at the moment

installing-dynare-no-longer- )available-on-homebrew/11259 and whether we are going to release a version for that as well.

Betreff: [DynareDev] Dynare 4.5.4
Dear all,
I have just created a release candidate for the next bug fix release
(4.5.4):
https://dynare.adjemian.eu/
pre-release/windows/dynare-4. 5.4-rc~1-win.exe
https://dynare.adjemian.eu/
pre-release/windows-zip/ dynare-4.5.4-rc~1-win.zip
https://dynare.adjemian.eu/
pre-release/tar/dynare-4.5.4- rc~1.tar.xz
I have checked that I am able to install it under Windows 10
(VirtualBox) and that the files provided in the examples subfolder
are running. I also run the linux testsuite in the 4.5 branch. All
looks good to me, but if you have other files to be tested under
windows please try them. I did not yet try with windows 7 (which was
problematic in the previous releases for k order). We could publish
this release by the end of the week (or next week).
Best,
Stéphane.
