Dear Sébastien,
I think it should be taken seriously. I have made the experience that the idenfication and dynare_sensitivity commands sometimes use while loops without robust termination criteria and are thus prone to infinite loops.
While the problem leading to the indeterminacy warning may be transient, the fact that this results in an infinite loop suggests a slight design flaw. One way to deal with the issue would be to keep track of the iterations and abort the while-loop if a prespecified number of iterations is reached.
Best,
Johannes

Dynare failed to compile or Octave testsuite failed to run
The testsuite for Dynare 4.3 under Octave entered an infinite loop in gsa/ls2003.mod, with the following messages printed in loop:
PosteriorIRF :: Dynare is unable to solve the model (Indeterminacy) |
I don't know if this is transient or deserves to be taken seriously.
