1. Currently, identification only prints out the
error code from info, but does not display the explicit
error message of print_info. What do you think about making
this more explicit?
2. I don’t know if there is a way to avoid the
problem and continue to run identification. I tried moving
the identification command before the estimated_params-block
in order for prior_exist to be set to
0 (line 102-109). However, then identification crashes in
line 130 with
??? Error using ==>
dynare_estimation_init at 153
ESTIMATION: the
'estimated_params' block is mandatory (unless you are
running a smoother)
Thus, there seems to be
some inconsistency between Dynare_identification and
dynare_estimation_init
