Thanks Houtan, I am aware of this issue, I will fix it. The problem is that it is no more legal to use inputname in overloaded subsref and subsasgn methods. I used this to allow expression like >> ds.save() for saving a dseries object, ds, in a mat file called ds.mat. This was probably a bad idea (it was not working with Octave).
