Dear all, Does anyone know the status of this? Liu et al. (2013, Econometrica) mention, in an appendix to the paper, that they have developed their own optimization algorithm, and that they are working with the Dynare team in order to implement it as part of the standard Dynare software. options_,nobs in new data interface

Dear Stéphane, various functions like dyn_forecast in master still use options_.nobs, but you deleted its setting when using makedataset. Hence, many functions now work with the NaN initialization it got in global_initialization.m. Shall we set options_.nobs in makedataset? Or do we replace all calls to it by something else? Windows/Octave: upgrade to 3.8.1

Hi, Just to let you know that I have upgraded the version of Octave used for Dynare on Windows. It is now 3.8.1. The installer can be downloaded there: http://www.dynare.org/download/octave/windows/ If you compile from Cygwin, you'll also have to reinstall the files dynare-mingw32-libs.zip and dynare-mingw64-libs.zip. Tomorrow's Dynare snapshot will be built against Octave 3.8.1.
